Women's Tennis Falls to William & Mary 5-4

WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The 11th-ranked William & Mary women,s tennis team defeated 10th-ranked Wake Forest, 5-4, on Sunday afternoon in Williamsburg, VA. With the victory, William & Mary improved to 13-8 while Wake Forest dropped to 11-6.
Wake Forest and William & Mary split the six singles matches, with the Demon Deacons claiming victories at Nos. 3, 4 and 6. The Deacs won at No. 1 doubles, but William & Mary won the match with victories at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles.
Wake Forest will return to action on Thursday, April 9 when the Deacs host Notre Dame at 2 p.m.
