Women's Tennis Squad Advances to ACC Finals

ATLANTA - The Wake Forest women's tennis team advanced to the ACC Tournament championship for the fourth consecutive year here Saturday with a 5-0 victory over N.C. State at the Bill Moore Tennis Center on the campus of Georgia Tech.
The Demon Deacons won five singles matches, all in straight sets, to clinch the win. Wake Forest, the tournament's second-seeded team and the 13th-ranked team in the country, will now face top-seeded and nationally fourth-ranked Duke for the championship.
The Blue Devils have won the last 10 ACC titles, including defeating Wake in the last three ACC Tournaments. Duke has won 101 consecutive ACC matches.
