Wake Women's Tennis Moves Up In ITA Poll

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team moved up in this week's ITA national poll, while remaining at the same spot in the Daily Tennis Coaches' Poll.

The Deacons moved up from fourth to third in the ITA poll, while remaining at No. 5 in the poll released by Daily Tennis. Wake is currently 21-2 heading into the NCAA Tournament. The Deacons captured their first ACC regular season championship by going 8-0 in league matches this season.

The pairings for the NCAA tournament will be announced on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The regionals will be May 13-14. The NCAA Finals will be May 18-26 in Malibu, Cal.
