Bersagel Earns All-American Accolades

Anne Bersagel, a member of the Wake Forest women's cross country team, earned All-American accolades at the NCAA Championships on Monday in Terre Haute, IN. The sophomore harrier captured a 25th-place finish at the championships with a time of 20:23.4.

Bersagel paced the Demon Deacons to ninth place overall at the national championships; the highest Wake Forest has finished since the program began in 1978. This season, Bersagel has also received All-ACC and Southeast All-Regional selections, while leading the Deacs to conference and regional titles.
