INFORMATION
George Greer, head baseball coach of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, is conducting his 13th annual Winter Hitting Camp. The Winter Hitting Camp at Hooks Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest Univesrity provides the best possible opportunity in the Triad area to lear how to hit a baseball properly and effectively. As in the past, we are pleased to extend this Specialized Instruction Hitting Program to a limited number of students during the Holiday Season. Due to unprecedented demand, we recommend early registration. Special rates for our ot-of-town student who require overnight accommodations are avilable with the Ramada Inn located on University Parkway (336-723-2911).
This hitting camp will feature personal hitting instruction through classes and videotaping. Campers should bring their own VHS videotape. Each camper will be taped with instructional voiceover so he will have his own record of the drills with expert analysis.

PROGRAM
The program that will be conducted for the campers will contain hitting drills used by Coach Greer to tutor major league players and the 1998, 1999 and 2001 ACC Champion Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Campers can expect to swing 300 times daily!
FACILITY
All sessions will be conducted at the state of the art Gene Hooks Stadium at Wake Forest University. The camp facilities and equipment include videotaping capabilities, three astroturfed outdoor cages, two AC/heated indoor hitting tunnels, five pitching machines, radar guns, protective screens, three sort-toss machines , batting tees, plus the stadium field -- considered to be one of the finest playing surfaces in the ACC and the nation.
SUPERVISION
Campers will be closely supervised by camp counselors and coaches. All campers are group by age and skill level.
ELIGIBLITY
Any person 7-18 years of age, including senior in high school, is eligible to attend. Current seniors may attend htese camps in accordance with NCAA regulations.
DISCIPLINE
All camp rules will be given to each camper at the start of the program. If rules are willfully ignored or violated, dismissal from the camp will result. No refunds will be issued.
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
1. $75 deposit for each camper must accompany application. 2. Balance is due upon arrival at your hitting session. 3. A confirmation letter and additional information will be sent to you upon receipt of your application and deposit.

Sessions 1-10 are open to ages 7 through high school seniors. No team rates for session 3, 4 or 5. Sessions 11 and 12 are only open to students in grades 8-12.
TUITION
$150 ($75 registration fee with balance due upon arrival for your session). For families with more than one child in camp, tuition will be $125 each. Meals are not served but the concession stand will be open at breaks.
Accident insurance is provided for each camper as part of the tuition cost. Please not on the application if camper has any existing health/mental problems.

PROGRAM
Campers will enjoy a week of outstanding baseball instruction for players of all skill levels. They will be grouped according to age, physical maturity, previous experience and overall ability and will be under the supervision of coaches with high school, college and professional coaching experience. Instruction will range rom the basic fundamentals to advanced skills. Each camper will receive concentrated instruction in the areas that he and his coach feel require the most attention, with an emphasis toward individual needs. Proper conditioning, position play and coordination of the various positions on the field and their responsibilities will be covered thoroughly. A written evaluation will be provided to each camper upon request.
ELIGIBILITY
Any person 7-18 years of age, including seniors in high school, are eligible to attend.
COACHING STAFF
George Greer, head coach of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, will supervise all camp activities, along with Wake Forest players. High School and college coaches will also serve as instructors.

WORKING PARENTS - WEEK 1
Members of our staff will be available to supervise campers at 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. for those parents who work schedules interfere with normal drop-off and pick-up times. Families who wish to participate in this program must check with appropriate box on the application. There will be a supervised program of activities for these campers. The cost is only $20.00 per week per camper.

INSURANCE / MEDICAL
Each camper is covered by a group accident policy. An experienced trainer will be on duty at all times to provide assistance, if necessary.
LUNCH
Lunch for camp will be provided and includes in a sandwich, bag of chips and a cold drink. Ice water will be available at all times. Additional sandwiches and drinks may be purchased if ordered during morning attendance.
