Winston-Salem, N.C. -- Saturday's baseball game against Winthrop was called on account of rain. The game will be rescheduled as a double header at Winthrop on Sunday in Rock Hill, SC.
The Deacons and Eagles were originally scheduled to play a home and home series this weekend, but instead will play two games on Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 1:00 pm. Wake Forest will send junior Justin Keadle to the mound in an attempt to extend the Deacs' winning streak to seven games.
The Demon Deacons will visit Liberty on Tuesday before traveling to Millington, TN, to compete in the Indiana State Tournament next weekend.
