Less than two months before they'll meet on the basketball court for the first time ever, Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State are teaming up Saturday to offer their services to local inner-city youth.

The Demon Deacons and Rams are co-hosting the Diversity Basketball Camp Saturday (Sept. 25) from 9-11 a.m. at Reynolds Gym on the Wake Forest campus. The two-hour session is for inner-city kids, arranged by a local church. The players and coaching staffs for both teams will participate.

Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State will play an exhibition game Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in Lawrence Joel Coliseum. That game will mark the first men's basketball meeting ever between the two local schools.
