Adamski/Parr Cruise Into Regional Semifinals

Chapel Hill, N.C. - Sophomore Mariusz Adamski and freshman Cory Parr have won four matches in a row to qualify for the doubles semifinals at the ITA Mideast Regional Championships in Chapel Hill.
Adamski and Parr knocked off North Carolina's Lenny Gullan and David Stone in the round of 16, 8-3. In the quarterfinals, they defeated Peter Rodrigues and Ludovic Walter, a nationally-ranked team from Duke, 8-3.
Adamski and Parr improved their fall record to 9-2.
Another nationally-ranked team from Duke, Joey Atas and Jonathan Stokke, awaits Adamski and Parr in Sunday's semifinal.
In singles action, Parr upset Maciek Sykut of Florida State in three sets, but lost a marathon to Virginia's Rylan Rizza, 7-6 (5), 6-7 (0), 6-4. Todd Paul lost his round of 16 match. He fell to Martin Sayer of Radford, 7-6 (2), 6-0.
