On playing Duke this weekend:
"We're elated that they have a new field. We scrimmaged their earlier this season so it was a preview of what's to be expected. I don't feel like their midfield played particularly well so I know they're going to be stronger this weekend. Their goal keeper also wasn't there, so I expect some stiffer competition in the cage. Duke makes for great competition and they'll be coming after us, but we will be coming after them as well."
On how the team is playing so far:
"The team surprised me at the ACC/Big Ten challenge. I though they played very well and we've got much more depth that in the years past. Having said that, we have some inexperience though the lines, but I think we're really transferring the ball well. We've got great ball speed, and our execution is quick."
On having a mark on their backs as three time national champions:
"We take that mark and we put it on our opponents. We know that has been our situation for the last couple years. We also know that there are other teams that are strong. Take a look at Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Maryland and Duke. We feel like those are the top teams in the country and they're marked as well. If people want to give us that target we'll take it, but we're going after our opponents."
