COLUMBUS, Ohio - Wake Forest senior Todd Paul will look to continue his five-match winning streak at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Tennis Championships hosted by Ohio State this week.
Paul, the nation's 14th-ranked player, faces seventh-ranked Arnau Brugues of Tulsa in the first round.
The tournament will showcase the nation's top collegiate tennis players in a 32-player singles field for both the men and women. Players include winners from the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships, held across the country during October, and the winners of the Polo Ralph Lauren Men's All-American Tennis Championships. Paul won the consolation bracket at the All-American Championships at Tulsa, Okla., in early October.
Paul, a native of Stamford, Conn., is currently 9-1 in singles play and 5-1 against nationally-ranked opponents this fall. All matches begin at 11:00 am ET on Thursday.
