Women's Tennis Hosts Charlotte Saturday Afternoon

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 25 Wake Forest tennis team will open the month of February with the second of seven home matches on Saturday, Feb. 4 against Charlotte. The match is set to begin at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center at noon.
Wake Forest is coming off a strong, 6-1, victory over No. 42 Purdue last weekend. In the match against the Boliermakers, the Deacs dropped the doubles point by a margin of 2-1, but came back in the singles and swept all six positions. In the victory No. 42 Alex Hirsch upset No. 24 Hala Sufi, 6-1, 6-2, and No. 64 Ashlee Davis upset No. 54 Randi Schuler, 6-0, 6-4.
The match for Charlotte will be the second of the season, with the first a 7-0 loss to No. 60 Furman on Thursday night.
