Hello, Deacon fans.
This morning a couple of us woke up and went to workout and get in the hot tub around 8 a.m. After a nice workout I came back and got ready for our practice round. We then had some breakfast and headed out to the course.
Our tee time today was around noon. We practiced for about an hour and hit the links. We were out here in the fall for the NCAA preview, but the course played completely different. In the fall the greens were firm and fast, but the weather just hasn't cooperated (it was snowing just over a week ago) to let the greens grow in. They are much softer and bumpier, but I am sure they will roll and cut them so they will be much better by Wednesday.
Today was a beautiful day. The weather is very sporadic, it can be perfect or it can be cold. The forecast looks nice. It usually gets up to the mid 60's but early in the morning and at night it's extremely cold (low 40's) because of the altitude.
We had a few fun games on the course and cruised around at a decent pace. The course winds through rivers, trees, incredible houses and has snow capped mountains in the background...what more could you ask for?
The team was hungry so we ordered some pizza while walking down the 18th fairway and it was ready when we got to the restaurant. After snarfing up a few pizza's we came back and relaxed before we left for our banquet.
Prediction- Heat 93 Pistons 89
