So it begins!!
Today was our first day of pre-season.
We started it off with a team meeting, where we were able to meet the freshmen, get to know one another and talk about our upcoming preseason schedule. After the meeting we got our equipment, which is always the best part. Yay!!
There are a few of us taking summer school, so between meetings today we had to study and finish our assignments.
To end the first, long day we had a team dinner. You can always tell how nervous people are by looking at what people order and how much they actually eat. But, the dinner is always fun because you get to relax and hang out with the new team and not think about what lies ahead. It is always nice to have one last hoorah with our friends and family before the challenge of the season begins.
Many of us probably will have a difficult time sleeping tonight due to the butterflies in our stomachs. Today is the start of yet another wonderful season! Let the games begin!
