Hirsch Finishes Play in ITA All-Americans

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Senior Alex Hirsch wrapped up play at the ITA All-Americans this week at the Riviera Tennis Club in Los Angeles, Calif.
Hirsch took one of three matches at the national event. In the qualifying singles main draw, Georgia Tech's Amanda McDowell defeated Hirsch 6-0, 6-0. In the consolation round, Hirsch defeated Denver's Annette Aksdale in straight sets (6-2, 6-3).
Wake's senior ended play with a 6-4, 6-1 loss to Arizona's Danielle Steinbert.
Next up for the Demon Deacons will be the ITA Southeast Regional in Chapel Hill, N.C., set for October 17-27.
