Second Day at the NCAA Championships -
Greetings from Atlanta!
I know we are all supposed to be in Daytona Beach right now, but I am writing this from the Atlanta airport on my way back to Greensboro. After our practice round today, Maggie and I headed to the airport to come back to Winston-Salem so we could attend graduation tomorrow.
We're both really happy that Coach Dailey agreed to let us make the trip. We'll be back in Daytona tomorrow night to get ready for the first round on Tuesday. I'll be sure to fill you in on all the graduation details tomorrow night!
The practice round went well this morning. We got a good look at the course and everyone seemed to be hitting it well. We quickly found out that the love bug population at the course is ridiculous and even though they seemed to love us, the feeling is not mutual. After the round, we got in a little extra short game practice then the other girls headed back to the hotel. Hopefully they had a few minutes to hang out on the beach. There was a tournament dinner tonight at the Daytona Speedway and hopefully the rest of the team took plenty of pictures for us! Maggie and I will be attending graduation tomorrow while the rest of the team is playing their second practice round.
We should all be ready to go on Tuesday!
