Mandy Goins Earns All-America Honors from Golfweek

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Recent Wake Forest graduate Mandy Goins earned third team All-American accolades by Golfweek, the publication announced this week. Goins helped lead the Demon Deacons to a 12th place finish at last month's NCAA Championships in Daytona, Fla. and earns the Golfweek honor for the first time in her career.

Goins was named honorable mention All-American by the National Golf Coaches Association for two consecutive years, most recently earning the honor last month. The Frankfort, Ky. native enjoyed a career best NCAA tournament score and showed solid tournament performance, her last as a Demon Deacon. She shot a 3-over 75 on the final day and tied for 21st with a 21-over 300, which is the best showing at an NCAA tournament for Goins.
