Track Competes in Akron Open

AKRON, Ohio - The Wake Forest track teams will compete in the Akron Open this weekend, where nearly 1,100 athletes and 29 schools will be represented over two days.

The highlight of the weekend is the Gold Division events, which starts at 3 pm on Saturday men's and women's pole vault and concludes at 5:45 pm with the 4x400 meter relays. Events will begin on Friday evening with the Heptathlon 60m dash at 5 p.m.

Blue Division events will start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday with the Long Jump and wrap up in the early afternoon. Gold Division events will begin immediately following.
