Wake Forest's baseball season-opener at Pepperdine was rained out on Friday afternoon. The Demon Deacons will now open the season on Saturday, Feb. 23 with a doubleheader against the Waves. The first game of the twinbill is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The second game will follow approximately 40 minutes following the conclusion of the opener.
Saturday's forecast calls for a high of 59 degrees with partly sunny skies.
The Deacons and the Waves will also play a doubleheader on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. EST.
