Wake Forest Hosts Virginia Tech for Pink Zone Game

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will host Virginia Tech on Sunday, February 15 for the annual Women's Basketball Coaches Association Pink Zone game. Tip-off is 3 p.m and admission is free when fans wear a pink t-shirt. The game will be televised online through ACCSelect.com.
Wake Forest (17-6, 4-5) enters the game following a 59-51 loss at NC State on Thursday. Virginia Tech is 11-14, 1-9 with a recent 59-56 loss to Miami in Blacksburg, Va. The Hokies are led by Utahya Drye in scoring and rebounding. The junior forward currently averages 14.2 points per game and 6.9 rebounds.
Wake Forest marketing will have several promotional events at Sunday's game. Fans will have the opportunity to win prizes courtesy of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Wake Forest Athletics, ACC, Graylyn International Conference Center, Deacon Tower Grille, and the Deacon Shop with a minimum $1 donation towards the WBCA's Kay Yow Fund.
Following the game fans will have an opportunity to meet the Deacons through an autograph session.
Wake Forest will return to the Joel on February 17 to host NC State at 7 p.m.
