No. 3 Field Hockey Hosts Davidson on Sunday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The third-ranked Wake Forest field hockey team will continue play at Kentner Stadium this weekend, hosting Davidson at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
Wake Forest improved to 5-1 with a 5-2 win over Indiana on September 13. Freshman Lizzie Rae leads the Deacons with four goals for the season and senior Melissa Martin is the team leader in assists with five.
The Wildcats are 2-4 after dropping a 6-1 contest to Indiana last weekend. On Friday Davidson opens play in the NorPac conference, traveling to Appalachian State.
Next weekend the Deacons will hit the road for a pair of matches against Maryland and American on September 26 and 27.
