Hopkins and Prabhakar Win Doubles at Crimson Tide Invite

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Wake Forest's David Hopkins and Amogh Prabhakar beat teams from Alabama in the semifinals and the final to win their doubles flight at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships in Tuscaloosa on Sunday.
Hopkins and Prabhakar topped Vikram Reddy and Michael Thompson 8-5 in the semifinals before polishing off their Crimson Tide teammates Stuart Kenyon and Harris Barnard 8-3 in the title match. It was the first individual doubles championship of both Hopkins and Prabhakar's careers.
In singles, Danny Kreyman finished in second place in his flight, falling to No. 86 Akash Muppidi of Boston College 6-1, 6-7 (4), 6-4 in the finals.
The Wake Forest men's tennis team has completed its fall season. The Demon Deacons will open dual match play on Jan. 15 with a home match against Charlotte.
