WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will return from a 10-day layoff for fall semester final exams to host former Southern Conference rival Furman on Tuesday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum.

• Wednesday's game will be televised regionally on Fox Sports South. Mike Hogewood (play-by-play) and Mike Gminski (color) will call the action.
• The game can be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com. Stan Cotten (play-by-play) and Mark Freidinger (color) have the call.
Last Time Out
• Wake Forest is coming off a 71-67 loss to Seton Hall on Saturday, Dec. 8. The Deacons got a career-high 28 points from C.J. Harris, who broke out of a shooting slump by going 7-for-10 from 3-point range. However, the Pirates rallied from 14 down in the second half to steal the road win.
• Harris hit five 3-pointers in the first half and one with 55 seconds to play in the game that gave the Deacons a two-point advantage. His 28 points topped his previous career-best of 24, set vs. Miami on Feb. 9, 2011.
• Travis McKie added 16 points, a team-best seven boards and a career-high four steals, while Devin Thomas finished with four blocks and Codi Miller-McIntyre had five assists.
• Wake Forest went 9-for-20 (45%) from 3-point range and is shooting 47.7 percent (21-of-44) from beyond the arc over its past three games.
Today's Opponent
• Furman (3-6) is coming off a 64-50 loss at Auburn on Sunday. The Tigers pulled away from the Paladins with a 16-5 run to end the first half. Furman's leading scorer and rebounder Colin Reddick had 14 points and five boards.
Series History
• Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Furman 14-7. The two schools were Southern Conference rivals for 17 seasons from 1937-53. The Deacons went 10-2 vs. the Paladins in SoCon play.
• The Deacons and Paladins have not met on the hardwood since the 1995-96 season when Tim Duncan led Wake Forest to an 81-49 win over Furman at the Joel Coliseum. Duncan scored his 1,000th career point in the win.
Next Up...
• Wake Forest will play at Triad-rival UNC Greensboro on Saturday, Dec. 22, in the Greensboro Coliseum, which is the site of the 2013 ACC Tournament. The Deacons and the Spartans will tip off at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN3.
• The Deacons are 6-0 all-time against UNCG, includings wins in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
• The Deacons will then have a 10-day break for the holidays before returning to host Xavier in the Skip Prosser Classic on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The Xavier game will wrap up the Deacons' non-conference slate.
