Wake Forest to Begin ACC Play at Home with Maryland
• Wake Forest and Maryland will open up their respective ACC schedules this weekend in Winston-Salem at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
• The Deacs opened up the conference slate at home a year ago, as well, taking two of three from North Carolina.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest ran its winning streak to 10 games in a 3-0 victory over Valparaiso on Wednesday. The shutout was Wake's second of the season.
• The Deacs also defeated Valpo on Tuesday by a score of 13-4.
• Jack Fischer earned the win in relief on Tuesday, while Nate Jones picked up the win in his first start of the season on Wednesday.
This Weekend's Opponent
• Like Wake Forest, Maryland also enters the weekend with a 10-game winning streak.
• The Terrapins took two of three at UCLA to begin the season and has been hot ever since, thanks in large part to a staff ERA of 0.96.
• Most recently, Maryland won a pair of midweek games, claiming on 2-0 decision against Delaware on Tuesday and a 4-2 decision at Navy on Wednesday.
