Wake Forest to Begin ACC Play at Home with Maryland
Wake Forest and Maryland will open up their respective ACC schedules this weekend in Winston-Salem at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
The Deacs opened up the conference slate at home a year ago, as well, taking two of three from North Carolina.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest ran its winning streak to 10 games in a 3-0 victory over Valparaiso on Wednesday. The shutout was Wake's second of the season.
The Deacs also defeated Valpo on Tuesday by a score of 13-4.
Jack Fischer earned the win in relief on Tuesday, while Nate Jones picked up the win in his first start of the season on Wednesday.
This Weekend's Opponent
Like Wake Forest, Maryland also enters the weekend with a 10-game winning streak.
The Terrapins took two of three at UCLA to begin the season and has been hot ever since, thanks in large part to a staff ERA of 0.96.
Most recently, Maryland won a pair of midweek games, claiming on 2-0 decision against Delaware on Tuesday and a 4-2 decision at Navy on Wednesday.
Series History
Wake Forest holds a 94-55-1 all-time advantage over Maryland.
Last season, the Demon Deacons swept the Terrapins in College Park, 6-2, 15-5, 4-0.
The Deacs currently have a five-game winning streak over the Terps, as Maryland last defeated Wake Forest 5-1 on May 20, 2010.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will conclude its 16-game homestand with midweek contests against Georgia Southern on Tuesday and NJIT on Wednesday.
The Demon Deacons will hit the road for the first time since the opening weekent at New Mexico State when they travel to Raleigh for a three-game series with NC State.
Wake Forest will then return home on Tuesday to play Winthrop at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
