Wake Forest Stays on the Road to Battle Charlotte
Wake Forest and Charlotte will meet for the first time in 2012 on Wednesday at Hayes Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
Wednesday's game will mark the eighth straight road game for the Demon Deacons - the longest stretch away from Winston-Salem this season.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest dropped all three games at Virginia over the weekend, 9-4, 4-1 and 11-2.
The Demon Deacons had leads in all three games before the Cavaliers came back to claim the victories.
Pat Blair led the Wake Forest offensive attack by going 5-for-12 (.417) with a double and an RBI.
Conor Keniry had three doubles over the weekend, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
This Week's Opponent
Charlotte comes into Wednesday's game with a 14-18 overall record and a 2-7 record in the Atlantic 10.
The 49ers have lost four straight, including a weekend sweep at home to the hands of A-10 rival Dayton.
Series History
Wake Forest is 34-24-1 all-time against Charlotte.
The two squads split a season series last year, with each team winning on the road.
The only tie between the Deacs and the Niners in school history came on March 28, 2000, with the score knotted at 14-14.
Next Up
The Demon Deacons will be at home this weekend for a three-game series with ACC rival Georgia Tech. Game times are 6 p.m. on Friday, 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Wake Forest will then be on the road next Tuesday to face UNCG at 6 p.m.
