Wake Forest Travels to Virginia for ACC Battle
Wake Forest will travel to Charlottesville, Va. for the first time since 2008 to take on ACC foe Virginia on Saturday-Monday.
The Demon Deacons and the Cavaliers have not played each other in a regular season series since the 2009 season.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest took Game 1 of the series at No. 5 North Carolina before dropping the final two games to the Tar Heels.
The Friday night victory came in exciting fashion, as the Demon Deacons captured a 7-6 win in extra innings.
Mark Rhine knocked in the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly in the 12th to plate Carlos Lopez. Jack Fischer then recorded his first-career save to preserve the win for Wake Forest.
After a 7-3 loss on Saturday to UNC, the Deacs tied Sunday's finale at 3-3 in the top of the ninth with two outs before North Carolina earned a walk-off victory in the bottom of the inning.
This Weekend's Opponent
Virginia enters the weekend series with Wake Forest having gone 8-2 in its last 10 games.
The Cavaliers defeated James Madison 15-5 in their last outing, after dropping two of three at NC State last weekend.
Series History
Wake Forest is 81-69 all-time against Virginia dating back to 1955.
The Cavaliers have had the upper hand of late, winning four straight, including a 13-1 victory over the Demon Deacons in last year's ACC Baseball Championship.
The Deacs last beat Virginia, 7-4, in the 2008 ACC Baseball Championship in Jacksonville, Fla.
Next Up
Wake Forest will be on the road once again when it travels to Charlotte to play the 49ers on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Demon Deacons will return home next weekend for a three-game ACC series with Georgia Tech.
