Rose and Crowley Lead Wake Forest at Pre-Nationals

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Senior Alexander Rose and junior Connor Crowley paced the Demon Deacons at the Pre-National Meet, as the Wake Forest men's team finished 42nd overall on Saturday morning.
Rose led the Deacons, finishing 117th with a time of 24:44.93. Crowley was not far behind, placing in 137th with a time of 24:52.38.
Senior Kyle Graves placed 196th with a time of 25:10.01, while freshman Jacob Poyner finished in 257th place with a time of 25:34.18.
Freshman Simon Holden rounded out the Deacons' scoring five, finishing in 346th with a time of 24:45.56.
The Deacons finished with 1053 points finishing 42nd out of 52 teams on the 8k course, which will be the site of the 2013 NCAA Championships.
Wake Forest will focus on a two-week training segment prior to hosting the ACC Championships on Friday, Nov. 1 at Beeson Park in Kernersville.
