Wake Forest Finishes 15th at Paul Short Run

LEHIGH, Pa. - Led by senior Alexander Rose, Wake Forest finished 15th out of 47 teams on Saturday at the Paul Short Run.
The Demon Deacons finished with 506 team points on the 8k course at Lehigh University.
Rose placed 72nd overall in a field of 330 competitors, finishing in a time of 25:07.
Senior Kyle Graves was not far behind, placing 81st in 25:12.
Freshman Jacob Poyner finished 109th in 25:28, while junior Connor Crowley clocked in at 25:32 for 114th place.
Sophomore Kent Garrett rounded out the Deacons' scoring five, coming in 130th in 25:39.
Sophomore Billy Fayette was 146th in 25:43, freshman Simon Holden was 176th in 25:56 and sophomore Ryan Horgan was 190th in 226:05.
Wake Forest returns to action in two weeks when the Deacons travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for the Pre-National on Saturday, Oct. 19.
