WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest got a full team effort in a 92-65 victory Friday night over visiting Radford.

The win was the second in a row for the Demon Deacon who improve to 3-2 on the season. Radford falls to 2-3 with the setback.

The inside-outside duo of senior Chelsea Douglas and Dearica Hamby once again led the Deacs. Douglas finished with 22 points on five made three-pointers and Hamby had 17 points and five rebounds.

The bright spot off the bench came from redshirt-freshman Kelila Atkinson. After missing the first four games of the season with a sore hamstring, Atkinson made her Demon Deacon debut a memorable one. The Woodbridge, Va., native was 6-of-10 from the floor and 6-of-6 from the free throw line en route to finishing with 20 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Freshman Ataijah Taylor went 5-of-5 from the free throw line and finished with seven points while sophomore Kandice Ball scored a career-high six points and grabbed a career-high tying five rebounds.

The Deacs put the full court pressure on right from the opening tip and forced 20 first half turnovers. That allowed them to double-up Radford at the break 54-27. Wake also dominated on the boards 46-28 and had 19 second chance points.

The Highlanders had four players score in double-figures led by Jordynn Gaymon who finished with 16 points and six rebounds.

It took the Demon Deacons a few minutes to get on track but steals off the full-court pressure led to easy buckets and the hosts would take a 24-13 lead after Atkinson's first three-pointer of her career. Freshman Mykia Jones knocked-down a three-pointer of her own to keep the momentum and a Hamby jumper at the 4:19 mark would spark a 10-0 Deacon run to help push the lead over 20 points. Over the final 4:30 of the opening half, the Deacons outscored Radford 18-4 and would lead 54-27 at halftime.

Wake Forest then scored the first nine points of the second half to take its largest lead of the game at 63-27. But the Deacs got a little sloppy over the next five minutes and Radford would go on a 16-3 run to crawl within 23 at 66-43. The margin stayed in the mid-20s for the rest of the game as everyone on the Demon Deacon bench contributed.

Wake Forest will now head west next week for three games. The Deacs will take on Arizona on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. ET before heading to Reno, Nev., for the John Ascuaga Nugget Classic hosted by Nevada. Wake will play Cal on Friday, Nov. 29 and then either Nevada or Idaho on Saturday, Nov. 30.
