Deacons Head to Duke Fab Four Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team will open fall competition this weekend when it sends four representatives to the Duke Fab Four Invitational at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
Competing for the Demon Deacons in the event in both singles and doubles will be No. 5 Romain Bogaerts, Anthony Delcore, Nicky Kunz and Nicholas Osterling.
Bogaerts, the highest-ranked player in the tournament and the top seed in the Blue Singles draw, will open against Wilder Pimentel from VCU. Also in the Blue Singles draw is Delcore, who will take on William & Mary's John Banks.
Kunz, a transfer from Davidson, will compete in the Blue Singles draw with his first match coming against Joe Mills of Radford. Osterling rounds out the Wake Forest representatives in the field and will take on Louisville's Chris Simich in the first round of the White Singles draw.
Bogaerts and Delcore will team up in the Blue Doubles draw and will face a difficult opener against No. 16 Cameron Silverman and Stefan Fortmann of Elon. Kunz and Osterling will play together in the White Doubles draw with their first match coming against Scott Huang and Damon Niquet.
Action will start on Friday at Cary Tennis Park with doubles scheduled to finish on Saturday and singles slated to end on Sunday.
