Wake Forest is set to host Florida State on Saturday evening in the Demon Deacons' only home game over a three-week stretch this month.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the LJVM Coliseum. The game will be broadcast on the ACC's regional sports networks and online on ESPN3. It can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off an 82-67 loss at NC State on Tuesday in Raleigh. The Wolfpack got 34 points from T.J. Warren to even the season series with the Deacons.
Wake Forest welcomed back leading scorer Codi Miller-McIntyre, who sat out the Duke game with an ankle injury. Miller-McIntyre came off the bench to lead Wake Forest with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting and a game-high seven assists.
NC State took control midway through the first half, using a 9-2 run to break a 35-35 stalemate.
Travis McKie and Devin Thomas were also in double figures with 11 points apiece. Thomas also led the Deacons with six rebounds.
Wake Forest shot 51 percent in the game, including 61 percent in the second half. NC State, however, shot 53 percent for the game and 63 percent in the first half.
Wake Forest Storylines
Wake Forest is in the middle of a five-game stretch that sees the Deacons play four games on the road. Following the stretch, Wake Forest will play three of its final four games of the year at home.
Codi Miller-McIntyre has been one of the best guards in the ACC this season. The sophomore ranks among the ACC leaders in assists (8th), field goal percentage (8th), assist-to-turnover ratio (9th) and scoring (13th).
The ACC's active leading career scorer, senior Travis McKie is seven points shy of 1,600 for his career. McKie would be the 18th all-time Deacon to accomplish the feat.
Wake Forest leads the ACC in free throw rate (50.2) and is averaging 27 free throw attempts per game. The Deacons are scoring almost 18 points per game at the line on the season.
Series History
Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Florida State, 24-21. The teams split the season series in 2012-13 with each squad winning at home.
The Demon Deacons are 15-6 all-time against the Seminoles at the LJVM Coliseum. Wake has won eight of the last 11 meetings at the venue since the 2000-01 season, including a 71-46 victory last year.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will hit the road for a pair of games next week beginning with the Deacons' final conference game against Maryland on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in College Park.
The Deacons will then travel to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels on Saturday, Feb. 22. Wake Forest beat North Carolina 73-67 last month in Winston-Salem.
Wake Forest's next home game is not for another 10 days when the Deacons host Clemson on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
