GREENSBORO, N.C. - Freshman Lindsay Graham has earned a spot on the 2013 All-ACC Academic Field Hockey Team as announced by the conference office on Friday morning.
The squad is made up of 33 student-athletes, and each member school is represented by at least one athlete. North Carolina led the conference with nine honorees, six of which were upperclassmen.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
Graham, hailing from Houston, Texas, received the honors for the first time in her career as a Demon Deacon after a strong freshman season. She appeared in 20 of Wake Forest's 21 contests and made three starts in the midfield while notching a pair of goals, both of which came against Appalachian State on Oct. 1.
The freshman has yet to declare an academic major but was one of only two first-year players honored on the squad alongside Caleigh Foust of Virginia.
