Wake Forest Welcomes Clemson in ACC Home Opener
Wake Forest returns home to the friendly confines of Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park to host No. 14 Clemson for the home ACC opener.
Wake Forest played the majority of its games in February at home and maintains an 9-3 record in Winston-Salem.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest defeated East Carolina 5-4 on Wednesday night in Wilson, N.C.
The Demon Deacons limited the Pirates (8-9, 1-2 Conference USA) to just four hits and gave up just one hit after the fourth inning to stifle the East Carolina offense.
Conor Keniry, Charlie Morgan and Will Craig each had RBIs in the game while Craig recorded a hit to extend his hitting streak to 12 games.
After nearly a two-hour rain delay, Wake Forest rallied for three runs including two in the seventh to overcome a 4-2 deficit and defeat the Pirates.
Wake Forest Storylines
The Wake Forest offense has been firing on all cylinders lately with ACC Player of the Week, Will Craig leading the surge. Craig hit .615 in four games last week with eight hits in 13 at-bats. including two home runs and five RBIs.
Wake Forest has four walk-off victories this season with last at-bat victories over Marshall, Davidson, Missouri and Stony Brook. Nate Mondou has two of those walk-off hits including a solo home run against Marshall.
The Demon Deacons are 8-2 in one-run games this season and are 9-0 when leading after eight innings.
The Opposition & Series History
Clemson leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 121-46.
Last season, the Deacs and Tigers met in Clemson, S.C. and Clemson swept the series including a 1-0 game on April 13 and a walk-off win in the 11th on April 14.
Chris Okey has 17 RBIs to lead the Tigers while catcher Garrett Boulware has 16 runs batted in.
Clemson is ranked No. 14 in Baseball America, No. 28 in Collegiate Baseball, No. 17 by NCBWA and No. 14 by Perfect Game.
