Wake Forest Travels to Davidson on Wednesday
Wake Forest travels to Davidson on Wednesday to face the Wildcats in a non-conference bout with first pitch at 6 p.m.
Connor Johnstone will start for Wake Forest while Clark Beeker will start for Davidson on the mound.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest dropped two games to No. 14 Clemson on Saturday as the Tigers won the first game 16-6 and the second game 7-4 in ACC play.
Will Craig homered in the first game to extend his hitting streak to 14 games but went without a hit in the second game of the doubleheader.
Charlie Morgan had three RBIs in the first game while Matt Conway had two RBIs in the second game. Grant Shambley had four hits on the day with three in the first game.
Wake Forest recorded 14 hits in the first game but Clemson limited the Demon Deacons to just five hits in the second game
Wake Forest Storylines
Will Craig continued to hit last week after he was named the ACC Player of the Week. He hit two home runs in the series against Clemson including a solo shot in the 4-3 win on Friday night.
Wake Forest has four walk-off victories this season with last at-bat victories over Marshall, Davidson, Missouri and Stony Brook. Nate Mondou has two of those walk-off hits including a solo home run against Marshall.
The Demon Deacons are 9-2 in one-run games this season and are 10-0 when leading after eight innings.

Wake Forest holds a 54-12 advantage over Davidson all-time.
When the two teams met on Feb. 18, Wake Forest defeated Davidson 4-3 in the bottom of the 12th inning as Kevin Conway was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to drive in the winning run.
Nathan Becker has 20 RBIs to lead Davidson while Forrest Brandt has 17.

Wake Forest remains on the road this weekend as the Demon Deacons will head to Boston College for a three-game series beginning on Friday.
