Deacs Travel North to Boston to Face the Eagles
Wake Forest heads north to Boston as the Demon Deacons will face Boston College this weekend.
Due to the cold winter in Boston, the Deacs and Eagles will play a doubleheader on Friday on the campus of at Friedman Diamond at Northeastern University before playing a third-game of the series at Conaty Park at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest fell to Davidson 7-6 on Wednesday night as the Wildcats scored six in the sixth inning to down the Demon Deacons in non-conference play.
Wake Forest led 3-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning but Davidson responded with six runs. Charlie Morgan homered for Wake Forest in the third to put Wake Forest up 2-1 and the Deacs scored one in the sixth and seventh along with two runs in the ninth but Davidson held on for the win.
Connor Johnstone got the start on the mound for the Deacons and struck out a career-high six batters in 5.0 innings.
Wake Forest Storylines
Will Craig continued to hit last week after he was named the ACC Player of the Week. He hit two home runs in the series against Clemson including a solo shot in the 4-3 win on Friday night.
Wake Forest has four walk-off victories this season with last at-bat victories over Marshall, Davidson, Missouri and Stony Brook. Nate Mondou has two of those walk-off hits including a solo home run against Marshall.
The Demon Deacons are 9-3 in one-run games this season and are 10-0 when leading after eight innings.
The Opposition & Series History
The series between Wake Forest and Boston College is tied at 12-12.
Wake Forest swept a doubleheader with BC last season on April 20 as Justin Van Grouw set the tone on the mound for the Deacs by pitching a career-long 8.2 innings in the first game. He gave up just three hits and one run while striking out five batters.
The Deacs then took the third game of the series Joey Rodriguez walk-off single in the 11th inning.
Boston College is 6-12 this season and has yet to win an ACC game as the Eagles were swept by Miami and No. 3 Virginia.

Wake Forest plays a home-and-home mid-week series with Elon as the Deacs will host the Phoenix on Tuesday before heading to Elon on Wednesday.
