ARNIE Debuts This Sunday on The Golf Channel

A three-part documentary of legendary Demon Deacon Arnold Palmer entitled Arnie, premiers this Sunday night on The Golf Channel. The three-night television event will air on consecutive nights at 10 p.m. ET from Sunday, April 13, through Tuesday, April 15.
The Golf Channel conducted over 100 interviews in the last year and a half, including a number of people with Wake Forest connections. Parts of the excerpt below were filmed during Mr. Palmer's visit to campus last fall for the Arnold Palmer Statue unveiling.
The first part of the documentary, "Arnie & His Army", features the people that helped influence and instill the values and integrity for which Mr. Palmer is known. That will air Sunday at 10 p.m. The second part, "Arnie & His Majors", portrays Mr. Palmer's professional career, his 62 PGA Tour victories and his 11 major titles. The final segment, titled "Arnie & His Legacy", focuses on Mr. Palmer's impact on not only the golf world but popular culture as well.
