Wake Forest Hosts No. 5-Ranked Louisville in ACC Home Opener >>
Wake Forest will host No. 5-ranked Louisville on Sunday in the Demon Deacons' ACC home opener and the Cardinals' inaugural ACC league game.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the LJVM Coliseum. The game will be televised on ESPNU and can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network.

Wake Forest is coming off an 80-66 win over Princeton on New Year's Eve, the Demon Deacons' third win in a row to close out the non-conference portion of their schedule.
The Deacons hit a season-high 10 3-pointers in 23 attempts (43.5%). Konstantinos Mitoglou and Mitchell Wilbekin each hit a trio of 3-pointers, while Cornelius Hudson and Darius Leonard made two each.
Codi Miller-McIntyre narrowly missed the program's first triple-double in nearly 20 years, as he finished with nine points to go along with career-highs of 11 assists and nine rebounds.
Five Deacons scored in double figures, led by Mitoglou off the bench. Mitoglou totaled 15 points to go along with seven boards and a pair of blocks.
Devin Thomas was a rebound away from a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Hudson (12 points, seven rebounds), Leonard (10 points) and Wilbekin (12 points, five rebounds) also filled up the stat sheet.

Freshmen Cornelius Hudson (2-7), Konstantinos Mitoglou (3-6) and Mitchell Wilbekin (3-5) combined to go 8-for-18 (44%) from 3-point range against Princeton. The trio of freshmen have combined to make 49 of Wake Forest's 80 3-pointers this season.
Codi Miller-McIntyre is 8-for-21 (38%) from 3-point range over the past six games. He was 0-for-7 on the year prior to the stretch.

Louisville leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 2-1. All three previous meetings have come at neutral sites, including a pair of NCAA Tournament matchups.
Wake Forest and Louisville first met at the Dixie Classic in Raleigh on Dec. 30, 1958. The Cardinals posted a 74-64 defeat of the Deacons.
The teams have split NCAA Tournament meetings. Louisville beat Wake Forest 81-58 in the first round in 1992, while the Deacons upended the Cardinals 60-59 in the 1996 Sweet 16 in Minneapolis.

Wake Forest continues its four-game homestand when the Deacons host No. 2-ranked Duke on Wednesday, Jan. 7. The Deacons and Blue Devils split the season series last year with Wake Forest coming away with an 82-72 upset of Duke in Winston-Salem.
The Deacons will then host Georgia Tech on Saturday, Jan. 10, in the first of two meetings with the Yellow Jackets this season.
