Deacs Take 10th at Princeton Inter-Regional

Final Results
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Wake Forest men's cross country team came in 10th place at the Princeton Inter-Regional meet at the Princeton West Windsor Fields in New Jersey Saturday morning.
For the first time this season, freshman Craig Corti led the way for the Demon Deacons. He placed 61st with an 8K time of 25:02.3.
Five seconds behind Corti was Evan Little in 64th place. Little was followed closely by Simon Holden and Alexander Giacco, who took in 66th and 67th, respectively. The scoring five was completed by Nicholas Raefski, who finished in 90th.
Nationally-ranked Indiana won the race as a team and was followed by Ivy League schools Princeton and Columbia.
Wake Forest will pick up competition next Friday at the Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. before capping regular-season races by hosting the Wake Forest Invitational the following week in Kernersville, N.C.
