Wake Forest Places Ninth at Princeton

Final Results
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Wake Forest women's cross country team finished ninth Saturday morning at the Princeton Inter-Regional meet at the Princeton West Windsor Fields in New Jersey. Pacing the Demon Deacons for the third-consecutive week was Samantha Jones, who finished sixth in the 126-runner field.
Jones, who finished fourth at the Deacons' last two races, completed the 6K course with a time of 20:53.4. Ellie Abrahamson was the next to finish for the Deacs, coming in 16th with a time of 21:20.8.
Completing the scoring five for the Deacs were Kathryn Lazarchick, who placed 58th and Jenna Truedson and Elizabeth Parrish, who came in 75th and 83rd, respectively.
Host Princeton won the race, followed by North Carolina and Columbia.
Wake Forest will pick up competition next Friday at the Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. before capping regular-season races by hosting the Wake Forest Invitational the following week in Kernersville, N.C.
