DEACS RESUME SERIES AGAINST THE SPIDERS
• Wake Forest hosts one of its most-frequent non-conference opponents as Richmond visits Winston-Salem
• The Deacs look to start the season 3-0 for the second time in three years
• Richmond is making its road debut after splitting a pair of home games, falling to James Madison before defeating Stetson
SERIES HISTORY
• Wake Forest leads the all-time series 40-12 (19-3 at Wake, 11-1 LJVM)
• Tonight's game marks the eighth consecutive year and the 15th time in the last 16 years the schools have met
• The Deacons won last year's matchup 65-63 in Richmond on Devin Thomas' game-winning tip-in as time expired
• In the last meeting in Winston-Salem in 2013-14, the Demon Deacons won 76-66 in overtime, as Codi Miller-McIntyre scored 26 points to help Wake Forest erase an 11-point deficit over the final five minutes of regulation
• Two of the last three meetings in Winston-Salem have gone to overtime
LAST TIME OUT
• The Deacons used a strong second half to post a 90-82 victory at Bucknell Sunday in their road debut
• Wake Forest trailed by 13 points in the first half and by 11 points at the break, but used a 16-3 run to open the second half to take the lead
• The 13-point comeback was Wake Forest's largest since erasing a 16-point deficit against NC State in an 86-84 win on January 22, 2013, and was the Demon Deacons' largest comeback on the road since rallying from down 13 points early in a 77-75 win at Gonzaga on Dec. 5, 2009
• Bryant Crawford had 21 points (18 in the second half) and seven assists
• Devin Thomas, playing up the road from his hometown of Harrisburg, had his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds

• The Demon Deacons travel to Hawaii for the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, Monday-Wednesday at the Lahaina Civic Center
• It is the Deacs' first appearance in the Maui Invitational and their first trip to Hawaii since competing in the Rainbow Classic in 1999-00
