Dailey Announces 2015-16 Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Head coach Dianne Dailey announced the 2015-16 Wake Forest women's golf schedule on Monday.
"We are excited about our schedule for next year," Dailey said. "We will have the opportunity to play against the top 10 teams in the country both in the fall and the spring. It is a very competitive schedule and one which should prepare us for the post season. We have consistently played one of the most competitive schedules each year and I think that has had a very positive impact on our program both with preparation and with recruiting."
The Demon Deacons will kick off the fall season Sept. 13-15 at the Cougar Classic, which will be played at the Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, S.C. Wake Forest will play a total of four tournaments in the fall, including the Lady Paladin Invitational at the Furman University Course in Greenville, S.C., Sept. 20-22 and the Tar Heel Invitational at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. Oct. 9-11. The Demon Deacons will defend their 2014 title at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. to wrap up the fall Oct. 23-25.
Wake Forest will open the spring season Feb. 7-9 at the Northrop Grumman Challenge at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif. The Deacs then head to Hilton Head, S.C., March 4-6 for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at the Long Cove Club. Wake Forest will once again play in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic March 20-22 at the University Club. The regular season wraps up with the Bryan National Collegiate co-hosted by Wake Forest and UNCG April 1-3.
The ACC Championship will be played April 15-17 at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Wake Forest will then head to the NCAA Regionals which will take place in either Stanford, Calif.; Bryan, Texas; Baton Rouge, La.; Shoal Creek, Ala. The 2016 NCAA Championship will take place Ma 20-25 in Eugene, Ore.
