• Kimmy Guerin, Emma Davis, Anna Ulyashchenko, Joanna Zalewski, Samantha Asch and Luisa Fernandez each won twice in singles. Guerin, Zalewski and Asch are each 7-0 in singles on the spring.
Hot Start
• At 7-0, the Demon Deacons have matched their best start in program history. The 2014 squad also won its first seven matches.
• Three of Wake Forest's wins have come on the road and two have been against nationally ranked opponents.
Moving Up
• With their strong start to the season, the Deacons have jumped from a preseason ranking of No. 71 to 45th.
• Last week's wins at VCU and William & Mary made Wake Forest the biggest riser in the national rankings, moving up 19 spots from 64th to No. 45.
• The Deacs' current national ranking is their highest since they were No. 38 on Feb. 25, 2014. Prior to that, they reached 43rd on March 30, 2010.
Deacs in the Rankings
• In addition to a rising team ranking, the Demon Deacons have a pair of nationally ranked singles players in Kimmy Guerin and Emma Davis. The team now has multiple players ranked in singles for the first time since March of 2011.
• Guerin moved up to No. 77 after beginning the spring unranked. The ranking is the highest of her career, eclipsing her previous career high of No. 84. It is the highest singles ranking by a Demon Deacon since Kayla Duncan finished 2012 at No. 69.
