Craig Named ACC Co-Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wake Forest junior Will Craig was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday evening.
Craig got on base in more than 80 percent of his plate appearances over the week, leading the Demon Deacons to a 4-1 record.
The junior hit .692 on the week, going 9-for-13 with nine RBIs, three doubles, three home runs, and seven walks for an on-base percentage of .810.
He recorded his second-career multi-home run game against Richmond on Sunday and drove in six runs, a career-high. He also recorded his second save of the season against Towson.
This season, he ranks in the top 25 nationally in RBIs (fourth - 21), slugging percentage (fourth - 1.026), home runs (eighth - 5), total bases (12th - 39), doubles (16th - 6) and on-base percentage (21st - .592).
It is the third ACC weekly honor of his career.
