Deacons Head to Athens for NCAA Regional
• No. 26 Wake Forest will make its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2009 this week when it travels to the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.
• The Deacons will be joined by host and No. 5 overall seed Georgia, first-round opponent and No. 40-ranked Baylor and North Florida.
• The Deacs and Bears open play on Friday at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons reached the ACC Tournament quarterfinal round for the first time since 2010, earning a first-round bye before blanking No. 31 Virginia Tech, 4-0, in the second round.
• The Deacs fell, 4-1, to eventual champion North Carolina in the quarterfinals.

Deacs in the Rankings
• Wake Forest's 19-9 record with a 9-9 mark against ranked teams has the Deacs ranked No. 26 after starting the season at No. 71. They climbed as high as No. 14 on March 22 to join the top 15 for the first time since April of 2007.
Kimmy Guerin and Emma Davis represent the Demon Deacons' in the national singles rankings at No. 64 and No. 111, respectively. Guerin has been ranked as high as No. 44 and Davis reached No. 103 earlier in the year.

Doubles Success
Andrea Retolaza Andrade and Luisa Fernandez have 26 wins as a doubles team in 2015-16, slotting them in a tie for sixth in a single season in program history.
Kimmy Guerin and Anna Ulyashchenko are 12-12 at the No. 1 position in dual-match play, including wins over three ranked tandems. They debuted in the national doubles rankings at No. 45 and enter the NCAA Tournament at No. 62.

Racking Up Wins
• Wake Forest has 19 wins for the seventh time in program history, but for the first time since 2002. The Demon Deacons' seven ACC wins tied for their second-most all-time and matched their highest conference win total since they went 8-0 in 2000. Their seventh-place finish was their highest since 2007.
• The Deacs started the season 9-0, marking the best start in program history. They passed their previous team record of seven-straight wins to start a season set in 2014.

ACC Honor
Anna Ulyashchenko earned ACC Co-Player of the Week honors on March 22 after for her efforts in wins against No. 38 Notre Dame, No. 10 Virginia and East Carolina. She was the first Wake Forest freshman since Ashlee Davis in 2004 to win the award.
Kimmy Guerin earned the same honor for the second time in her career on Feb. 16. She was later named Second Team All-ACC, making her the 17th Deacon with multiple all-conference accolades (first since Martina Pavelec in 2010).

ITA Honors
• Head coach Jeff Wyshner was named the Carolina Region's Wilson/ITA Coach of the Year, while Luisa Fernandez received the region's ITA/Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award.
• Fernandez is the program's first Arthur Ashe Award winner, while Wyshner is the school's third coach to win a regional coach of the year award.

100-Win Club
• With her singles victory against Virginia in March, Samantha Asch became the 39th player in program history to reach 100-career wins in singles and doubles combined.
• Asch became the fifth current Demon Deacon to reach the milestone, joining Kimmy Guerin, Kasey Gardiner, Xue Zhang and Luisa Fernandez.
