EUGENE, Ore. – Wake Forest freshman golfer Jennifer Kupcho continued play at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship, shooting a 1-over 73 during Saturday's second round at the Eugene Country Club. Kupcho, who shot a first round 69 on Friday, is T-10th at 2-under through 36 holes of the event.
"Jennifer played well today, but not as many putts went in as yesterday," said head coach Dianne Dailey.
Kupcho began Saturday on the back nine, shooting 2-over for her first nine holes. She made two birdies and one bogey while playing the front nine to conclude her round of 73.
Kupcho is one of nine players at 2-under, seven strokes behind second round leader Dewi Weber of Miami, who is at 9-under.
The NCAA Championship continues with the third round on Sunday. Following the third round, the field will be cut for Monday's final round.
