Wake Forest Head Coach Danny Manning and his staff cordially invite women from all over the Triad to join them for the 3rd annual Danny Manning Women's Basketball 101 Clinic, on Sunday, September 11th, beginning at 5 pm at the Coliseum. Whether you are a die-hard basketball fan or someone who just wants to learn more about the fundamentals of the game, the Danny Manning Women's Basketball 101 Clinic promises to be an event that you won't want to miss!
The Danny Manning Women's Basketball 101 Clinic includes:
- Mix & mingle with other Demon Deacon ladies, including the wives of our coaching staff
- Special welcome from head men's basketball coach, Danny Manning
- Instruction on the basic rules and strategies of basketball
- On-court drills led by the Wake Forest men's basketball coaching staff
- Wake Forest gift bag
- Door prizes
- Light hors d' oeuvres served at the conclusion of the clinic
- Cash bar with one (1) complimentary drink voucher
- Group photo with coaches
It is recommended that all participants dress casually with athletic shirts, shorts and sneakers.
The cost of the camp is $40 per person. (Faculty & staff from Wake Forest University and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center are eligible for a discounted rate of $32 per person.) Proceeds from the clinic benefit the Wake Forest Baptist Health Brenner Children's Hospital and holiday shopping for families in need.
