Kupcho and Migliaccio Post Top-10 Finishes in Cabo

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – The Wake Forest women's golf team concluded its fall schedule Sunday with the final round of the Battle at the Beach. The Demon Deacons shot 1-over during the third round at Camp Campestre to finish the event T-7th at 19-over.
Jennifer Kupcho and Emilia Migliaccio led the Demon Deacons with top-10 individual finishes. Kupcho shot a 2-under 69 on Sunday to finish as the tournament's runner-up at 7-under, one shot behind medalist Lilia Vu of UCLA. Migliaccio, who has finished in the top 10 in each of her first four events as a collegian, finished 8th at 2-under after a final round 71.
Siyun Liu shot a 2-under 69 during the final round to finish the tournament T-11th at even par. Monica Schumacher tied her career low with a final round 76 to round out the scoring four for the Demon Deacons.
Wake Forest will return to action in February when it opens the spring season at the Northrop-Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
