Deacs Set For ACC Tournament
• The Wake Forest women's tennis team heads to Rome, Georgia, for the 2017 ACC Tournament.
• The four-day even begins Wednesday, April 26, and concludes with the championship match on Sunday, April 30.
• Wake Forest earned the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will open its run against the winner of No. 11 Syracuse vs. No. 14 Louisville on Thursday, April 27.
• First serve is set for 4 p.m.
Last Time Out
• Wake Forest concluded the regular season on Sunday, April 23, with a 5-2 victory against Boston College on Senior Day.
• Prior to the start of the match, the Deacs honored its three seniors, Samantha Asch, Luisa Fernandez and Kimmy Guerin.
• The Demon Deacons claimed the doubles point before picking up victories on courts 1, 2, 3 and 5 to claim the victory over the Eagles.
Climbing the ACC
• With a 7-7 record, the Demon Deacons finished the season tied for fifth in the final ACC standings.
• The fifth-place finish is the best finish in the league for the Deacs since a third-place finish in 2002.
Undefeated In February
• This season, the Deacs completed the entire month of February without dropping a single match. This is the first time the Demon Deacons have gone undefeated in February in recent history.
Deacs in the Rankings
• The ITA released its updated rankings on March 21. The Deacs enter the ACC tournament ranked No. 33. Wake Forest is one of 10 ACC teams ranked in the top 50.
• Kimmy Guerin is ranked the No. 55 player in the nation by the ITA. She opened the season ranked No. 33 in the country, the highest ranked Deacon since Martina Pavelec was No. 24 on March 29, 2011.
• Guerin and doubles partner Anna Ulyashchenko team up to form the No. 70 doubles team in the country.

• Following the conclusion of the ACC Tournament, the Demon Deacons will await word on its NCAA Regional destination, held May 12-13 at host sites.
