ACC Baseball Championship Schedule Announced

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The ACC announced pairings and game time for the 2017 ACC Baseball Championship at Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, Kentucky.
No. 15 Wake Forest earned the third seed and is the top team in Pool C. The Demon Deacons play 10th-seeded Georgia Tech on Wednesday at 7 p.m., and play sixth-seeded Miami on Thursday at 3 p.m.
Both of those games will air on RSN, which includes Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Carolinas.
The Yellow Jackets and Hurricanes will kick things off with an 11 a.m. game on Tuesday.
The Demon Deacons played both Georgia Tech and Miami in three-game series this spring, claiming two-of-three games from each team.
The ACC Baseball Championship will feature a pool-play format, leading into a four-team, single-elimination bracket to determine the league champion. Each team in the four pools will play one game against each of the other two opponents in its pool Tuesday through Friday (May 23-26). The four teams with the best records within their respective pools will advance to Saturday's semifinals, with the winners playing on Sunday in the ACC Championship Game.
Should Wake Forest advance out of Pool C, it would take on the winner of Pool B (North Carolina/NC State/Boston College) on Saturday at 5 p.m. on RSN.
The championship game is set for Sunday at noon, and will air live on ESPN2.

The ACC Baseball Championship FanFest will be held at the Hall of Fame Pavilion inside Louisville Slugger Field beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 27 and 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 28. Open to the public, the event will include a special ACC Baseball exhibit from the Louisville Slugger Museum, face painting, bourbon tasting, a photo booth, inflatables, merchandise for sale and more attractions for fans of all ages.
