Future Deacs Earn High School All-American Honors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Three future Demon Deacon field hockey players were honored for their final high school seasons.
Goalkeeper Katie Jean, along with midfielders Abby Carpenter and Grace Sambrook were named to the MAX Field Hockey All-American teams.
Jean earned a spot on the first team, Carpenter made the second team and Sambrook was named to the third team.
In addition, the organization named Carpenter its Maryland State Player of the Year.
All three are slated to join Wake Forest for the 2018 season.
The Demon Deacons finished 2017 with a 12-8 record.
