ACC Field Hockey Tournament Bracket Set

GREENSBORO, N.C.- No. 6 Wake Forest will face No. 4 Louisville on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C., on the opening day of the ACC Field Hockey Championship, the conference office announced on Friday.
Undefeated North Carolina earned the top-seed in the tournament followed by Duke with the two-seed. Boston College enters the tournament at No. 4, followed by Virginia as the fifth-seed, Wake Forest and No. 7 Syracuse.
The winner of the Wake Forest vs. Louisville game will advance to take on the winner of Syracuse vs. Duke on Friday, Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. The championship game is slated for Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. All games will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
Wake Forest picked up its first ACC victory of the year with a 4-2 win over then No. 7 Louisville on Sept. 21, as senior Jule Grashoff scored her first hat trick of the season. The Deacons also defeated then No. 9 Syracuse at home, but fell to Boston College, Duke and Virginia to round out ACC play.
